Although Post Malone‘s Big Ass Stadium Tour Part 2 kicked off last month, the artist is clocking some more studio time before getting back on the road.
The 18x Grammy nominee announced on Friday that he’s pushing off the remainder of the tour by three weeks after he “promised y’all beautiful people new music” and hasn’t had time to deliver on that yet.
“Hey there party people, Let me first kick this mofo off by saying – hope everyone out there is having a kickass day and spending time doing what they love with the people they love,” he started on his Instagram Story. “Looking at the upcoming schedule after stagecoach, I came to the realization that what we were trying to do, and what’s possible, isn’t really lining up.”
Malone added, “Truth is, I promised y’all beautiful people new music, and I don’t have the time to finish it before tour starts. We ain’t ready for tour just yet, so I’m making the decision to push the tour back about 3 weeks to get this music done. That being said, I’m so sorry to the folks who were planning on coming to the few canceled shows. I was looking forward to going nuts with y’all.
“That THAT being said, we been making some badass shit for this double album… and I can’t wait to perform for y’all again. And to alot of little stinkers that think I’ve forgotten about ole Stoney, I haven’t… I love you, and can’t wait to see you crazy motherfuckers soon -Austin,” the artist concluded.
Malone revealed that the Big Ass Stadium Tour Part 2, with Jelly Roll and Carter Faith, will resume on May 16 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Meanwhile, he’s working on his seventh studio album The Eternal Buzz, expected to drop in 2026.
