Bruno Mars Passes Usher and Lil Wayne with a New No. 1
Last week, when “I Just Might” sat a few spaces beneath the penthouse, Mars was matched with both Usher and Lil Wayne, as all three musicians had racked up a lucky 13 champions on the Rhythmic Airplay chart. They jointly claimed the fifth-most rulers in the history of the list. Now Mars owns that spot for himself, and Usher and Wayne have been demoted and now sit side-by-side in sixth place.

In the coming months, as Mars rolls out new singles fromThe Romantic, he might again add to his collection of No. 1s on the Rhythmic Airplay chart. If he scores just one more, he will move up again and tie with Chris Brown for the fourth-most leaders.
The Weeknd and Rihanna are only one and two smashes above Brown, respectively. The Weeknd has accrued 16 leaders and Rihanna 17 throughout the years. It’s entirely possible that The Romantic may include one, two, or even three additional No. 1s by the time its promotional period finishes.
Drake Leads With the Most Rhythmic Airplay No. 1s of All Time
While Mars could potentially tie and advance again on the list of the artists with the most No. 1s on the Rhythmic Airplay chart, he may never catch up to the all-time leader. Drake has thus far accrued an incredible 43 winners. That’s a little less than three times as many as the runner-up Rihanna.

“I Just Might” appears on half a dozen additional Billboard charts that look only at a song’s run at various radio formats. The cut climbs to a new peak on all but the Adult Contemporary ranking, where it’s comfortable once again, at its all-time high of No. 8.
Mars’s tune lives inside the top 10 on all but the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay tally, where “I Just Might” pushes from No. 23 to No. 20. Mars’s latest solo win appears within the highest tier on the Radio Songs, Pop Airplay, Adult Pop Airplay, Adult Contemporary, and Adult R&B Airplay charts, where it settles at Nos. 2, 5, 6, 8 and 9, respectively.
