The arenas, stadiums, and giga-venues of the world will never forget the name Bruce Springsteen. His larger than life compositions of the American spirit are filled with all the brashness and heart this country has to offer and have needed the largest audiences imaginable to capture their essence. Every Springsteen performance is a jam packed, sweaty, and heart racing celebration of a legendary discography.
This past weekend, his most recent tour, the “Land of Hopes and Dreams” tour came to a close at its rescheduled Philadelphia date. It marks the end of a politically charged tour that has left “The Boss” in lots of headlines.
Springsteen took some time at the end of the final show to speak to the audience, and give the fans a touching message that many took to heart.

“Stay hard, stay hungry, stay alive, and stay involved. We’ll be seeing you soon.”
The sentiment falls in line with Springsteen’s classic delivery across his music and his public image. His music to me often feels like a grand rallying cry for the common man, and he embodies that ideal in the way he conducts himself outside of music. One has to wonder also what could be coming soon with the statement “we’ll be back.” The performer has always been someone to see live, and I have no doubts that he’ll be hitting the road again very soon.
Fans were roused by the messaging, taking to the comments to share their feelings.
“There’s America’s Boss… Bruce Springsteen. 🥰❤️🤓”
“Saw him at MSG! He was amazing.”
I find a great sense of comfort in knowing Springsteen is still out there doing his thing. He feels to me so intertwined and representative of this country that he almost occupies this images a musical grandfather to us all. I hope he’ll be back soon, as he feels essential to us all.
