Netflix and AEG Presents are teaming up to bring K-pop Demon Hunters fans a live experience with a world tour.
The streamer made the announcement at their 2026 Upfronts presentation. Fans of the Oscar-winning animated film will soon be able to feel that golden energy in real life with a global tour.
The live experience will bring elements of the film to life in spectacular ways. A waitlist has been set up for fans eager to learn how to buy tickets and which cities the tour will stop in.
Fans will be able to sign up on the website for more information about the tour. Cities, dates and on-sale details for the tour will come later this year.
K-pop Demon Hunters became Netflix’s most popular film ever. The animated musical produced by Sony Pictures Animation added another 25.4M views from August 18 to 24, bringing its total since its June 20 premiere to 236M views. The streamer also noted on its biannual engagement report that the film was also the most-watched title in its history over a six-month period. In the second half of last year, the film amassed 482 million views.
Netflix’s animated film also made history, taking two Oscars: one for Best Original Song and another for Best Animated Feature.
Earlier this year, the streamer confirmed that a sequel for Kpop Demon Hunters was already in the works, with Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans back as directors and Sony Pictures Animation producing the pic.
“With KPop Demon Hunters, Maggie and Chris didn’t just reach audiences, they ignited a global fandom that crossed languages, generations, and genres,” Netflix Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria said. “We’re incredibly proud to deepen our partnership with them and, together with our partners at Sony Pictures Animation, build this universe in ways that will surprise and delight fans all over the world.”
