Figures from music, film and TV were recognized at the London ceremony on Tuesday (June 16).

Lola Young, The Who’s lead singer Sir Roger Daltrey and FLO were among the winners at the 2026 ASCAP London Music Award ceremony in London on Tuesday (June 16). The ceremony, hosted at Aqua Shard, is held to celebrate ASCAP’s U.K.-affiliated talent for their success in the U.S. over the past year.

Young’s “Messy,” co-written with Conor Dickinson, collected the song of the year prize and follows her winning the ASCAP Vanguard Award at the 2025 ceremony.

This year’s Vanguard award, which recognizes songwriters whose work is helping to shape the future of music, was presented to R&B trio FLO. The group’s sophomore LP Therapy At The Club will be released July 24 via Island/EMI.

Sir Roger Daltrey was honored with the ASCAP Founders Award, the collection society’s most prestigious prize, which the organization says recognizes “pioneering contributions to music by inspiring and influencing their fellow music creators.” Previous winners of the award include Stevie Wonder (1984), Sir Paul McCartney (1985), Burt Bacharach & Hal David (1991), Billy Joel (1997) and Diane Warren (2017).

Actor and musician Idris Elba collected the Creative Voice Award, while Clementine Douglas was recognized with the top hot dance/electronic song for her writing credit on “Blessings,” a joint song with Calvin Harris.

Siouxsie and the Banshees members Budgie, John McGeoch, Steven Severin and Siouxsie Sioux herself were honored for their credits on Lady Gaga’s Hot 100 hit “Abracadabra,” which incorporates the band’s 1982 song “Spellbound.” Matt Zara, a co-writer on Teddy Swims’ “Bad Dreams,” was also recognized.

The songwriters and composers for scores behind TV shows Watson (Paul Leonard-Norgan), Prime Target (Arthur Sharpe) and Devil in the Family: The Fall of Ruby Franke (Mat Davidson) and Adolescence (Aaron May) were celebrated.

In the film categories, the scores for Deep Cover (Daniel Pemberton), Fountain of Youth (Chris Benstead), One Battle After Another (Jonny Greenwood), 28 Years Later (Young Fathers), Paddington in Peru (Dario Marianelli), Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale (John Lunn) and Materialists (Daniel Pemberton) were also recognized.
