The upcoming album is a sequel to 2005’s ‘Confessions on a Dancefloor‘
The singer, 67, looks fierce in a collection of photos shared on her Instagram on Wednesday, May 20, just weeks ahead of the release of her upcoming Confessions II album.
“If your Dance floor feels dead / Maybe you’re playing the wrong music.,” she captioned the post.

The carousel begins with a photo of her in a light pink bodycon dress with a colorful fur coat and pink gloves. She wore her blonde locks down and rocked a pair of sunglasses while facing the camera with a serious expression.
There are also snaps of her looking to the side without her sunglasses, her legs in silver boots on a dance floor and her posing on a couch, among others.
Confessions II, a sequel to 2005’s Confessions on a Dancefloor, marks a reunion with original producer Stuart Price. The album is expected to be released on July 3.
She premiered the first single, “Bring Your Love,” on April 30.
Madonna previously summed up the project by quoting lyrics from a new song titled “One Step Away.”
“People think that dance music is superficial, but they’ve got it all wrong. The dance floor is not just a place, it’s a threshold: A ritualistic space where movement replaces language,” she shared.
Madonna’s 2005 album won a Grammy Award for Best Electronic/Dance Album and featured the hit songs “Hung Up” and “Sorry.”
Her last studio album was 2019’s Madame X.
The “Material Girl” hitmaker made a return to Coachella during Sabrina Carpenter’s headlining set on April 17.
She appeared as a surprise guest and performed her songs “Vogue” and “Like a Prayer,” as well as one seemingly from her upcoming album.
