Lytham Festival has announced the dates for next year’s huge event
Lytham Festival will return for five nights in 2027 after another record breaking year that attracted more than 110,000 music fans to the Lancashire coast.
Dates have now been confirmed for next year’s event, with the North West’s biggest music festival taking place from Wednesday, June 30 to Sunday, July 4, 2027.
Five day passes go on sale at 8am on Friday, while PayPal customers can access an exclusive pre sale from 8am today via lythamfestival.com
The announcement comes after the festival celebrated its 15th anniversary with five nights of live music, ending in spectacular fashion as global superstar Pitbull brought the curtain down in front of 25,000 fans on Sunday.
Thousands of festival goers donned bald caps in tribute to the Miami rapper’s trademark look as he fulfilled his promise to “bring the party” to Lytham on his I’m Back world tour.
Pitbull thanked the crowd, saying: “To all the baldies out there, thank you for the love and thank you for the commitment! Happy 15th Anniversary Lytham Festival!”
The high energy finale featured hits including Timber, Don’t Stop the Party, Hotel Room Service, International Love and Fireball, with special guest appearances from GRAMMY Award winning producer Lil Jon, British rapper Tinchy Stryder and DJ PBH.
This year’s festival also featured headline performances from Teddy Swims, Alanis Morissette, Michael Bublé and Pet Shop Boys, alongside special guests Lauren Spencer Smith, Skunk Anansie, Ronan Keating and Scissor Sisters.
Festival co founder Peter Taylor said: “What a week! The plan was to make our 15th anniversary year very special and it is safe to say that is exactly what the past five days have been.
“We have welcomed some of the biggest names in music internationally and to have such a huge global star as Pitbull to close our party with a phenomenal performance was just perfect.
“So now it’s on to 2027. The dates are in the diary, the artists are being booked and we can’t wait to start making some exciting announcements very soon.”
