Ava Max releases ‘Kill It Queen’

Kill It Queen

Global pop superstar and multi-platinum recording artist Ava Max just hit play on a whole new chapter. Her new single, “Kill It Queen,” is available everywhere now, and it’s the first real taste of where she’s headed next.

“I’m telling my story my way,” Ava says. “I’m doing things differently and it feels good. I feel empowered, reinvigorated, and I think you can hear it in this single. ‘Kill It Queen’ is for anyone who wants to feel unstoppable.”

After Don’t Click Play (home to hit singles “Lovin’ Myself” and “Lost Your Faith”), Ava is back with a sharper avant-garde look, a bolder sound, and zero interest in playing it safe. The new release is still unmistakably Ava with big pop hooks and unstoppable energy, but this time, she’s challenging herself vocally like never before and going more pop than ever. “Kill It Queen” also marks the moment Ava takes the wheel with a new team around her and full creative control.

With more than 22 billion streams, multi-platinum plaques, and smash hits like “Kings & Queens,” “My Head & My Heart,” “The Motto” with Tiësto, and “Whatever” with Kygo already under her belt, Ava’s been carving out her own lane in pop for years. This now feels like the version of herself that she’s been waiting to release.
