The third edition of the event will take place on Tuesday with an exclusive gala at Vesta Fiori Chiari in Milan.
On Tuesday, Nov. 10, the elegant Vesta Fiori Chiari venue in Milan will host the third Italian edition of Billboard Women in Music. The concept – “The Voices Edition” – is designed to spotlight the journeys and perspectives of its honorees, celebrating the personal and professional impact they are making as they redefine the music industry. The evening will be hosted by stand-up comedian and writer Giorgia Fumo.
The most anticipated award, Woman of the Year, will go to Madame, whose 2026 has marked her return to the music scene with her new album Disincanto and a new run of live shows. One of the most distinctive artists of her generation, Madame has developed a unique artistic voice over the years, moving fluidly between songwriting and pop experimentation. The award celebrates her ever-evolving artistic journey and her ability to leave a lasting mark on the Italian music landscape.
With the announcement of the Woman of the Year, the full lineup of honorees is now complete:
- Icon – Loredana Bertè
- Powerhouse – Ditonellapiaga
- Impact – Elisa
- Songwriter of the Year – Francesca Michielin
- DJ of the Year – Adiel
- Group of the Year powered by Morellato – Bambole di Pezza
- Rising Star – Angelica Bove
- Executive of the Year – Eleonora Rubini
Among this year’s new highlights, Spotify’s EQUAL Award will be presented to the collective Canta Fino a 10 in recognition of its tangible and creative commitment to championing female talent, challenging gender stereotypes in Italian music and fostering collaboration.
The 2026 edition aims to tell the story of music from multiple perspectives, shining a light not only on those who take the stage, but also on the people who write, produce, lead and work behind the scenes every day. It is an opportunity to offer a fuller picture of the many professions that make up the industry and help drive its evolution.
Partners for the 2026 edition include the collecting society SIAE (Società Italiana degli Autori ed Editori), which renews its support for creativity and women working in the music industry. Acqua Fiuggi is the Official Premium Water Partner, while Roku Gin is the Official Beverage Partner.
