Melanie C, best known as Sporty Spice of the Spice Girls, will perform at Good Times Live in Chipping Sodbury on Saturday, May 29, 2027.
She joins a star-studded line-up that already includes Rick Astley and The Feeling.
James Murden, co-founder and festival director of Good Times Live, said: “We were already incredibly excited about having Rick Astley and The Feeling on our Saturday line-up, but when the opportunity came to add Melanie C, we knew we had to make it happen.
“Having Sporty Spice performing here in Chipping Sodbury is pretty surreal.
“But what makes this announcement even more special is that everyone who’s already bought a Saturday ticket gets to enjoy another huge artist at no extra cost.
“Our audiences have supported us from the very beginning, and we wanted to give something back.”
Melanie C rose to fame with the Spice Girls and went on to have a successful solo career with hits such as Never Be the Same Again and I Turn to You.
She has recently returned to her dance music roots, performing DJ sets worldwide and releasing her latest album, Sweat.
Good Times Live is expanding its line-up following a record-breaking 2026 event that saw more than 32,000 visitors over six days.
Tom Campbell, co-founder and production manager, said: “We’ve worked incredibly hard to bring the quality of production you’d expect from a major concert or festival to Chipping Sodbury.
“Artists like Rick, Melanie and The Feeling are exactly who we had in mind when we started building this experience.
“It’s going to be something special.”
Elsewhere on the line-up, Kaiser Chiefs will headline on Friday, May 28, joined by The Lottery Winners and The Ramona Flowers.
Olly Murs will take the stage on Sunday, May 30.
The festival’s Comedy Gala will feature Rob Beckett, Dara Ó Briain, Rhys James and Lou Sanders, while the new Monday Matinee includes Punk Rock Factory and five hours of family entertainment.
Organisers are encouraging fans to book early as tickets continue to sell quickly.
