The legendary metal icons have unveiled exciting news for their 50th anniversary tour.

Iron Maiden, the iconic heavy metal band, delivered exciting news to fans as its highly anticipated world tour continues.

The veteran rock stars, currently in the middle of their Run For Your Lives World Tour to celebrate their 50th anniversary, sparked excitement by announcing an update that will make one of their upcoming shows even more memorable for fans.

In an Instagram post, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees revealed that they will film their performance at EddFest in Knebworth Park in the UK on July 10 and 11.

“You all know what happened in Paris; we all know what happened in Paris, so we’re gonna finish it off at Knebworth, and we’ll see you there,” Iron Maiden founder and bassist Steve Harris said in a clip.

“Knebworth is being filmed,” lead vocalist Bruce Dickinson added, “We’re not gonna lose what we did in Paris, but we’re gonna add to it with some amazing stuff from Knebworth. So, Knebworth, be on your best behavior.”

The band had planned to film the footage at the Paris La Défense Arena on June 22, but the production was disrupted by a massive hour-long power outage.

As a result, the concert attended by more than 30,000 fans was delayed by about an hour, leading the band to skip its planned encore to comply with the venue’s curfew. Afterwards, the band issued a statement explaining what happened.

Following the unexpected incident, Iron Maiden expressed its deep gratitude to fans for their unwavering support and patience throughout the disruption.

“Despite everything, the audience and atmosphere last night were fantastic and, like every other challenge Iron Maiden have faced over the years, we’ll find a way to deal with and overcome the missing songs in the encore when it comes to the final film,” the frontman mentioned in a statement as cited by The PRP. “We know that many of you travelled long distances, waited patiently throughout the interruption, and were looking forward to experiencing the complete Run For Your Lives show. We share your disappointment. No one is more frustrated than the band and crew, who were eager to deliver the full performance you deserved.”

Following the U.K. run, Iron Maiden is also gearing up for the continuation of its North American leg from late August through September, followed by dates across Latin America in October and early November.
