Ye, the artist and designer previously known as Kanye West, announced that his Yeezy brand will return to the runway on Nov. 4 with a show celebrating the opening of its debut brick-and-mortar store in Los Angeles.
According to invitations sent to press on Monday evening, the presentation will take place at the new Yeezy Flagship Droam 1 location at 4317 Beverly Boulevard.
The show’s title, “Yeezy Season 01,” seems to mark new beginning for the brand, whose original collection debuted in 2015. It marks the first time Ye has shown a full-scale runway collection in four years. His last major presentation, Yeezy Season 9, was an off-calendar show held in Paris in October 2022 that sparked widespread controversy after models appeared in shirts reading “White Lives Matter.” Within that same month, a string of antisemitic remarks led Adidas to terminate its lucrative multi-billion-dollar partnership with Ye, part of a wider corporate fallout that also saw Balenciaga, Gap and talent agency CAA severe ties with the designer.
Since then, Ye has attempted to make amends for his past antisemitic remarks. In January 2026, he published a full-page open letter in The Wall Street Journal in which he disavowed antisemitism, apologised to the Black and Jewish communities, and linked his behaviour to his bipolar diagnosis alongside a previously undiagnosed brain injury stemming from a 2002 car accident.
Despite controversy from his actions in 2022, Ye has continued to perform live as a musician and has released three albums that charted on the Billboard 200 within the past four years. His most recent album, Bully, arrived in March and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. Ye also marked his return to brick-and-mortar retail through a distribution agreement with JD Sports, which began carrying independent Yeezy footwear in physical stores and online in August.
