The original Sugababes have announced the release of their first album in more than two decades.
The new self-titled record will be the first from the founding trio – Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan, and Siobhán Donaghy – since the London trio’s debut album One Touch in 2000.
It will arrive in February and is preceded by a new single called Ghost.
The cover art for the album was shared in a post on Instagram that was captioned: “We’ve poured so much into this record and the more it came together, the clearer it became that there was only one thing we could call it: ‘SUGABABES‘.
“It feels unmistakably us.
“We’ve loved writing and recording it, and we’re so excited that it’s finally time for you all to hear it!”
The 12-track record was co-written by the members of the girl group alongside a number of UK songwriters and producers.

It will include the tracks Jungle, Weeds, and Shook, all of which were released last year.
Sugababes formed when they were teenagers in London in 1998 and released the song Overload in 2000.
Internal divisions saw a rotation of different members and the release of hit songs Push the Button and About You Now.
Members of the original line-up each pursued solo careers before reuniting in 2012.
However, they only regained the name Sugababes in 2019.
