The Only Murders in the Building star turned 34 on July 22 and marked the occasion with an Instagram post. In the snapshots, Gomez posed on a scenic balcony while holding her birthday dessert. She opted for a casual look, wearing a classic white tank top paired with drop earrings. Per People, the actress snapped the photos in Bologna, Italy.
In her caption, she thanked her fans for their sweet birthday wishes: “First, I have to thank you each of you immensely for your support, kindness and all the bday wishes. Every single day I get to create because of all of you. Thank you for always making me the happiest girlie in the world 🌎 ♥️.”
Gomez also noted that her birthday coincides with the 6th anniversary of her Rare Impact Fund, a nonprofit organization that raises money to increase mental health access for young people.
“Little me would never believe I’d get to celebrate my birthday alongside 6 years of the Rare Impact Fund,” she continued. “My heart is so full today. Watching this community come together to support youth mental health has been the greatest gift, so thank YOU.”
She concluded her birthday message by encouraging people to support the organization.
