UK pop princess Perrie has shared her new single ‘Passenger Princess’.
The singer’s self-titled album hit No. 3 on its release last year, and since then she’s played some effervescent live shows.
Perrie will headline Mighty Hoopla in London this weekend, and to celebrate she’s just shared something new.
Out now, ‘Passenger Princess’ was initially released as a demo download on the Digital Fan Deluxe of her self-titled debut solo album, and this new version closes off that era.
A song about anxiety and the desire to be held, the sound leans in on her live performances, and incudes a hint of rock music.
Perrie says: “This song is written from a really honest place. Sometimes you just want someone to hold it together for you for a minute! It’s about letting yourself be looked and not feeling guilty about it. I’m really excited to embrace an even rockier sound in my music. I see all the feedback from my fans and I know this is what they want!”.
