Pop over to Downtown Disney at the Disneyland Resort for a limited-time bubbles experience this summer. The event features live music, bubble machines, and a Sofia the First photo op.
Bubbles Experience Returns to Downtown Disney
The Bubbles Experience, presented by Disney Jr., returns to the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage and Lawn. A Sofia the First photo op has been installed nearby for guests to take their photo with. The event runs from Friday, July 10, to Sunday, August 16, with both daytime and nighttime performances:
- Daytime: 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m., 4 p.m., and 5 p.m.
- Nighttime: 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 8:30 p.m., 9:30 p.m., and 10:20 p.m.
As Downtown Disney District noted on Instagram, this event is subject to change or cancellation without notice.

Multiple machines by the Downtown Disney LIVE! stage and lawn blow out clear bubbles while music plays on speakers nearby.
A DJ is also present, providing live entertainment for the guests. During the Bubbles Experience we attended, the DJ was Dave Mancini, and he will be present for the following dates and times:
- July 10, 11, 12, 13
- 1:07 p.m., 2:07 p.m., 3:07 p.m., and 4:07 p.m.

The Bubbles Experience is one of several events Downtown Disney is hosting this summer. In addition, as part of the Kids Rule Summer season at the Disneyland Resort, guests staying at the Disneyland, Grand Californian, and Pixar Place hotels can experience pool parties twice a week from July 2 to Labor Day (September 7). The parties promise games, music, and possibly even character appearances.
