This marks The BRITs’ first ever performance by a K-pop artist and celebrates the film and its music’s extraordinary and record-breaking cultural impact over the last year. The film won Best Animated Feature at this year’s Golden Globes along with Best Original Song – Motion Picture for ‘Golden’; the song also won the Grammy for Song Written For Visual Media and is nominated for Best Original Song at the 2026 Academy Awards, where the film is also nominated for Best Animated Feature. The film’s soundtrack has spent 30 non-consecutive weeks at Number 1 on the Official Compilations Chart, seeing a new record for the longest running Number 1 of all time on the Chart, and has amassed over 10.8 billion streams to date.
‘Golden’ is also nominated for International Song of the Year, which became the first UK Number 1 single from a K-pop artist in 13 years and has since spent 12 non-consecutive weeks at the top of the charts, as well as ranking 7th on Spotify’s global list of most streamed tracks of 2025. History was made once again when ‘Golden’ reached Number 1, ‘Soda Pop’ Number 3 and ‘Your Idol’ Number 5 on the Official UK Singles Chart, marking the first time this has happened for the K-pop genre.
