The Academy of County Music Awards has a sneak peek at who may soon take home some hardware.
Nominees for entertainer of the year and song of the year were announced exclusively on TODAY April 9 in advance of all of the nominees being revealed.
The entertainer of the year field may look familiar — last year’s winner, Lainey Wilson, is once again nominated. She’ll go up against a few stars who were also nominated last year, including Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Jelly Roll, Chris Stapleton and Morgan Wallen.
Wilson is also up for song of the year for “Somewhere Over Laredo.” She’ll square up in that category against fellow entertainer of the year nominees Megan Moroney (“Am I Okay?”) and Chris Stapleton (“A Song to Sing,” with Miranda Lambert).
