Bearded Theory Festival 2026

When: May 20-24, 2026

Where: Derbyshire, UK

The Scene: The multi-award winning and family-friendly festival, Bearded Theory, comes together for their Spring Gathering during the May bank holiday weekend. Besides the eclectic music lineup and children’s activities, the festival also hosts a World Record Attempt for the Largest Number of People Wearing False Beards.

Cross the Tracks 2026

When: May 24, 2026

Where: London, UK

The Scene: Cross The Tracks is a carefully curated and lovingly presented one-day event that mixes up legendary big names and hot up and comers across six superbly designed stages. It also boasts a wealth of London’s finest street food traders and craft beer brewers.

The Lineup: Little Simz

 

Truck Festival 2026

When: July 23-26, 2026

Where: Oxfordshire, UK

The Scene: Formed in 1998 after finding mainstream festivals too commercial, the anti-major Truck Festival finds itself expanding to four days, adding a Thursday schedule to the lineup. The tranquil Hill Farm venue in the pretty Oxfordshire countryside hosts some of the biggest and best emerging artists in the UK across six wonderfully curated stages.

Together Again Festival 2026

When: July 24-26, 2026

Where: Chester, UK

The Scene: Together Again Festival is a fresh and vibrant three-day, family-oriented celebration of music and community held in picturesque countryside surroundings. Whether you’re into pop, indie, disco, classics, or just want a fun and inclusive weekend away, it offers something for everyone.

Deer Shed Festival 2026

When: July 24-26, 2026

Where: Topcliffe, UK

The Scene: The UK’s ultimate family festival, Deer Shed is fun for everyone at Baldersby Park in North Yorkshire. There’s plenty here to keep everyone entertained, with a deep lineup of music, science tents full of experiments, plenty of sports activities, and much more festival fun. There are all kinds of camping options including vintage tents, yurts, and tipis if you don’t feel like setting up your own site.

 

Victorious Festival 2026

When: August 28-30, 2026

Where: Portsmouth, UK

The Scene: Victorious, the UK’s biggest metropolitan festival, takes place over August Bank Holiday Weekend. Featuring the best of British indie-rock, Victorious is an amazing family friendly experience with the best live acts, an enormous free kids arena, bustling markets, real ale, real food and an atmosphere not to be missed.

Where: Gloucestershire, UK

The Scene: This independent festival brings together the best of new and underground British music every July. The three-day extravaganza is set in the stunning Cotswold Hills. 2000trees promises no genre distinction, with the caveat ‘that most of the bands do tend to hold guitars.’

Mad Cool Festival 2026

When: July 8-11, 2026

Where: Madrid, Spain

The Scene: Simply put, Mad Cool Festival puts together one of the best lineups in the world. Every year, they gather together a roster of talent in Madrid that will make you want to drop everything and book a ticket to Spain.

Where: Werchter, Belgium

The Scene: For over 40 years, Belgian festies have descended onto the tiny town of Werchter for this annual 4-day tribute to rock, pop, and everything loud. If there’s a headliner you want to see this summer, it’s a strong bet they’ll be at Rock Werchter which curates one of the best lineups of the summer. The delicious Belgian beer flows like water here, and yes, they do have waffles, along with a massive main stage, two tent stages, and one wild dance arena.

The Scene: A former shipyard in the Scandinavian capitol of Denmark is transformed into a metalhead mecca for four days every June. Born in 2010, Copenhell has quickly grown into one of Northern Europe’s premier metal events. The full-blown city festival is only a short 10-minute bike ride from Copenhagen’s city center.

The Scene: When it comes to metal festivals, there’s few that can match the worldwide reputation of the famous Graspop Metal Meeting. 150,000 hard core festival fans make their way to Dessel for a weekend of hard rock, punk, metal, and everything else that’s loud. The only thing wilder than this four-day festival is the camping. Bring a tent!

The Scene: It’s one of the craziest festivals in Europe with a campground that gets so nuts that they have nicknamed it Mordor. Welcome to the Hurricane Festival, the northern counterpart of Southside, which features the same bands over the same 3-day weekends. There’s always a diverse lineup with rock and German acts taking the center stage.

The Scene: One of the highlights of the Dutch festival season, the Best Kept Secret Festival brings a world-class lineup to the south of the Netherlands. The beautiful location boasts an incredible lake, plenty of camping options, and multiple stages to complete the weekend.

The Scene: Born in the Netherlands, The Extrema Outdoor Belgium Festival, usually called the XOBE Festival, is a huge 3-day camping festival. It usually pulls in around 65,000 fans and features over 100 artists playing at 7 stages.

Electric Love 2026

When: July 9-11, 2026

Where: Salzburgring, Austria

The Scene: Electro, dubstub, EDM, and house are all on the agenda at the Austrian Electric Love Festival held outside of Salzburg. Nestled in the Salzkammergut Lake District and surrounded by the stunning nature of the area, festies will find themselves dancing away to some of the most outstanding stage production in Central Europe.

Sziget 2026

When: August 11-15, 2026

Where: Budapest, Hungary

The Scene: Welcome to the Island of Freedom! Every August thousands of festival fans around Europe descend on Budapest for one of the most unique festivals in Europe.
